Where the light ends
Light does not erase the shadow. The shadow is what allows it to exist.

Interpretation
There are images in which light is not there to reveal everything.
Here it almost does the opposite: it dazzles, erases detail and leaves the palms in shadow. In the distance, the water remains barely visible, like a quiet line.
Sun, water, contrast and stillness coexist in the same moment.
Perhaps it is the contrast itself that makes the scene feel silent: light does not erase the shadow. The shadow is what allows it to exist.
THREAD · CITIES WE CARRY
Light has a memory too.
It does not show everything: it leaves room for what remains to be imagined.
